Relationships are challenging and when you enter a relationship while toting along all sorts of baggage and actively hiding parts of yours yourself in an effort not to appear as the angry black woman, this can cause stress, anxiety, and resentment. I am here to encourage you to not do that to yourself. Not only for your personal sanity, but also out of respect for the person you love. They deserve to know you in your truest form and you deserve to own your identity.
