We may believe that self-love is simply a state of feeling good because of the actions that support our physical and mental growth. But it’s a bit more dynamic than that.
Self-love is when we begin to accept our weaknesses as well as our strengths, have less need to explain away our shortcomings, and have compassion for ourselves as human beings struggling to find personal meaning.
